Ceramics
W
hether you are a beginner or have been painting ceramics for years, you take that piece of clay, clean it, fire it and then work your own magic. We have a fine selection of greenware, Southwest, traditional, contemporary plus a large supply of paints and glazes for all your ceramic needs. We also have a 'Kids Corner' for when the grandchildren come to visit.  If you want to be more creative, try our potters wheel or the slab roller.  Horsehair sessions are given on Tuesday evenings and raku at the outdoor kiln as weather permits. Ceramic Club meetings are the first Tuesday of each month from Noon to 1:00 PM in the Ceramics Room. Bring your lunch and join us.  Stop in the Ceramics Room for more information on times and special classes.

Computer Club
The computer club room is busy with our members checking e-mail and "surfing the web" with our high speed internet access.  Our Computer Club offers the facilities, the training programs, and the technical expertise to help you advance your skills. All twenty of our computers are connected to the internet via a high-speed DSL line making email and web browsing a breeze.  The main computer room has ten computers available to members seven days week.  In addition,  there are ten more computers in the class room for instruction and general use. Scanners, printers, projectors - it's all there!  Check us out at the Computer Room during open hours and learn how to become a member.  Our hours vary as we depend upon volunteer monitor coverage. Dancing
There are a variety of dances held in the Ballroom here at Greenfield Village every season.. There are Cabaret Dances, Polka, Round Dances, Square Dance workshops, Square Dances, Line Dancing classes, Line Dancing.

Gals
Greenfield Active Ladies Society (GALS) is an.organization open to all women. of Greenfield Village RV Resort.  Potluck luncheons are scheduled. at 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on the first Wednesday of each month.  Sign up for each luncheon in the Activity Office. Each person should bring enough food for six. (6) people. Bring your own table service.  Membership fee is $5.00, which.supports some of the luncheon cost, programs, decorations, and. door prizes. A GALS club bar is also included for your badge.  To participate in the out-of-park events, women must be paid members of GALS.

Golf
Have a passion for golf? Hone your putting skills on our 18-hole grass green and finetune your wood and iron shots in our practice area.  On most weekdays, you’ll be able to join one of our organized groups to interesting and diverse courses in the East Valley. Our Golf Club organizes these weekly outings, as well as tournaments, putting contests and various social activities. Sign up on outside bulletin board.

Ham Radio
The Amateur Radio Club are all persons with an amateur radio license or those interested in getting a license are encouraged to attend our meetings. We have a net that meets year round on 20 meters. The frequency is 14.329. This net meets at 1900 Zulu or 12:00 noon. . MST every Monday, starting November 1st.  During disasters around the country, all persons in the park can use ham radio to get messages into and out of the. . disaster area when all other means of communication are down.

Lapidary
Did you ever wonder what that unusual rock you found would look like polished and  mounted in a ring or broach?  You’ll be able to find out when you visit our well-equipped lapidary shop.  Experienced instructors will show you how it’s done. Soon you’ll be making ornaments and jewelry that you’ll be proud to wear, give to a family member, or to friends.  The Lapidary Shop will be opened:

Picture sixteen glass-smooth shuffleboard courts, gleaming in our Arizona sun.  Picture playing this friendly game with fellow shuffle boarders and taking on teams from other resorts in league competition.  All this awaits you at Greenfield Village

Tai Chi
Greenfield Village Resort has a Tai Chi Chuan program for both beginner and experienced skill levels. The program offers a combination of relaxation techniques and physical activities which increase mental relaxation as well as flexibility, balance and muscle strength.  Our classes consist of range of motion and Chi Gung exercises, along with Tai Chi form training, a continuous series of postures. . designed to achieve a harmonious flow of energy known as "Chi". As the ultimate low-impact exercise, Tai Chi can be done safely by most ambulatory persons.

Tennis Club
T
he Greenfield Village Tennis Club was founded in.1985 with 25 members. The current membership is over 200.  We belong to the East Valley Senior Tennis League (EVSTL) along with 16 other resorts.  Competition is at advanced levels, 3.5 and 4.0; intermediate level, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0; beginner level, 1.5.
Statistics are maintained for the purpose of rating each player.  Home and away matches are held each week, November through mid March. Players are teamed according to similar ability within each level to provide exciting and. fun competition. Residency at Greenfield Village RV Resort and a current tennis membership are  required for eligibility.  Our facilities include five competition level courts,  ‘courthouse’ kitchen facilities, and ball machines.  Monthly meetings are held the  first Sunday of each month.  Membership dues are set each season which supports varied activities, maintains equipment and sponsors the annual tennis banquet. 

Our many member volunteers are the backbone of our club and its success. There are many opportunities for all members to participate as a volunteer in helping with::
· Maintenance of equipment
· Coordination of court washing
· Management of invitational and in-park tournaments
· Sponsoring annual banquet and shuffleboard potluck
· Captaincy of EVSTL teams
· Directing Round Robins
· Many other aspects of our club

Village Players
The Village Players provides entertainment for Greenfield Village residents and their friends. We produce one major play and a Christmas Program each year.  All Greenfield residents are welcome to join the Village Players for fun, the sharing of creative ideas and take part in whatever interests you the most.  Rehearsals and performances vary, so check with the Activity Office.

Wood Carvers
Surely one of the oldest forms of sculpting is carving in wood which remains a popular activity to this day fortunate to have several prizewinning carvers who help beginners with all aspects of the craft, from selection of carving tools to more advanced forms of the art. Meeting with fellow carvers at. . our regular sessions, you’ll soon acquire the skills needed to create fine pieces for display or as. treasur ed gifts.  Greenfield wood carvers have lots of tools, ideas, and fun socome join us

Woodworking
There’s something special about working with wood, and our well-equipped woodworking shop ensures that your project will be top notch.  Whether it’s some repair work. . around your home, cabinetry, or inlay work of a more advanced nature, you’ll be able to rely on guidance and help from our volunteer monitors.  Join the club and you get to use the shop for free. The monitor will help non-members with their projects for a donation.

Zumba
I
t’s fun and it's the type of exercise you'll want to do everyday and feel good about doing it! You probably never thought you'd be exercising to this type of music.  Zumba is a fusion of Latin and.International music and dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination.of fast and slow rhythms.
